Our after-school programs operate in 6-12 week cycles and can be customized to the school's needs. Educators of the after-school programs are both passionate about teaching and also advanced chess players themselves.
Our mission is to guide young minds through the fascinating world of chess, offering an engaging and enriching experience for students across the San Francisco Bay Area. We are currently in practice with 40+ schools and 1500+ students.

Chess Mastery and Strategic Thinking
Our program places a strong emphasis on teaching chess as more than just a game but as an art of strategy and critical thinking. Students will start with the fundamentals, learning how each piece moves and the rules of the game. As the weeks progress, they'll delve deeper into advanced strategies, tactics, and opening theory, fostering a love for the game that extends beyond the program.

Problem Solving and Decision-Making
Chess is an excellent tool for developing problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities. Our curriculum incorporates real-life scenarios and practical exercises, allowing students to apply the principles they've learned in chess to their everyday lives. By applying the critical thinking skills they acquire in chess to real-life situations, students are more adept at making informed choices and solving complex problems in their academic and personal lives.

Fun and Social Interaction
While we prioritize learning, we also believe that chess should be enjoyable. Our after-school program promotes a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging students to make friends and socialize while engaging in friendly chess matches and group activities. We understand that fostering a love for the game goes hand in hand with enjoyment, so our program ensures that every student experiences the joy of chess while building lasting friendships.
